The Best Time for Wildlife Photography around Kanchenjunga:
The best times to explore wildlife around the Kanchenjunga area are spring and autumn/fall. Including monsoon and summertime from June to August. Spring begins from March to May, and autumn from September to November. Spring and summer time with longer sunny days, is the best season to explore for wildlife photography. As well as for stunning views of the mountain range, but cold morning time, and in the shade until nighttime. Can get snowfall sometimes during the spring season also, but very wet with rain around mid-hills in monsoon times. But very green with lush vegetation when mountain animals are in abundance.
The next best time is autumn, which begins from September to November is one of the best times for treks and climbs when most days are fine and clear. But shorter sunlight hours, much cold morning and late afternoon until nighttime. Can get snowfall sometimes on walks above 2,500 m where mountain animal dwells.

Above 3,000 m the tree lines drop for short alpine bush of juniper and azalea. The high country of green hills to sheer mountain wilderness of arid terrain landscapes. From tall tree lines to remorseless fields of ice and glaciers close en route to Kanchenjunga North Base Camp.
